Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to have a read. My name is Vinko and this is The Wandering Idiot. Well, I wanted it to be the Wandering Fool – but that was taken….so the Wandering Idiot it is! And hopefully, by the end of my bicycle ride to Istanbul, we will have a pretty clear idea if I truly am and idiot or not 
So anyway, I jumped onto an online dictionary and found this:

1. an utterly foolish or senseless person.
ok…that’s cool. I can work with that. Perhaps riding a bicycle from London to Istanbul by myself, in the winter, could be classed as ‘utterly foolish and sensless‘ – but fun!
But then I read on and the dictionary provided me with this as well:
2. Psychology. a person of the lowest order in a former classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25. dictionary.com
Right…ok…so I’ll let you decide!
